General Information
We’ll be in southern Italy, about 1.5 hours south of Naples on the coast. The wedding venue is Villa Divina - see map here - which is located near Vietri at the southern point of the Amalfi coast. The major cities nearby are Naples (1.5HRS) and Salerno (20 MIN).
Wedding ceremony: Saturday June 7th 2025
We recommend arriving Thursday June 5th or Friday June 6th to the Vietri / Salerno area. You can then depart on Sunday June 8th or choose to stay to further explore this beautiful area of Italy (see recommendations below).
We do not recommend renting cars while visiting for the wedding weekend - this part of the coast is not conducive to driving & parking due to the high traffic (especially in summer high season) and very narrow roads. We recommend planning to stay the wedding weekend in the area and then using our provided transport from designated meeting points in Vietri and Salerno to get to the venue on the wedding day.
The closest international airports are Naples International Airport and Rome Fiumicino Airport; additionally, the new Salerno/Costa d’Amalfi Airport which has limited international arrivals. You can get to Salerno from any of these without a car via the well connected trains. Then you can choose to stay in Salerno or proceed towards Vietri via taxi from the train station or taking the frequent and inexpensive ferry service from near the Salerno train station.
On the wedding day
On the wedding day, we will have some buses organized to pick guests up at a number of designated pick-up spots. These buses will take you to the wedding venue, and we will have more to take you back to those designated spots at the end of the night. If you are set on renting a car, even though we don’t recommend it, there will be lots of parking available at the venue on the day of the wedding.
The wedding will be held mostly outside, with a sit down dinner in a covered space.
